Power Potatoes
Only have an hour for lunch? Bake a potato in five minutes in your microwave! Packed with energy and taste, this is a great way to enjoy a potato on the go.
For each serving you'll need
- 1 small baking potato
- 1 tsp chopped chives
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp butter
- sour cream (optional)
Preparation
- Wash potato (leave unpeeled).
- Poke several times with long fork.
- Place on Microwave-safe dish and cook in Microwave on High for 5 minutes per potato.
- Cut open, douse with butter, chives, salt, pepper and sour cream.
- Enjoy!
Tips
- Check out the refrigerator! Add leftover broccoli with cheese sauce, grated Cheddar or sprinkle Parmesan on it!
- Add 1 minute for a medium-sized and 2 minutes for a large potato.
