- chemical treatments in storage
- chemical sprout inhibitors
We DO use:
- crop rotation, grassed headlands and mulching
- whole seed potatoes
- greensprouted seed
- mechanical weeding
- trap-ditches, a beetle-vacuum, and other biological methods
to control potato beetles
- mechanical top-killing
- optimal ventilation and cooling in storage
